Both houses of Parliament were adjourned on the sugarcane pricing issue as Samajwadi Party, BJP and Rashtriya Lok Dal again created rukus in the Parliament on Friday.
The Rajya Sabha was first adjourned for 15 minutes.
After the oath taking of eminent journalist H K Dua, the opposition rushed to the well of the house, forcing adjournment.
Later when the house was reconvened, the opposition again raised the issue and demanded suspension of question hour to discuss the issue.
The Speaker Hamind Ansari appealed to the members to carry on the business of house, but opposition refused to budge from the demand and forced adjournment till 12 pm.
The Lok Sabha was adjourned till 12 pm over the same issue.
